Indiana State University


Indiana State University was founded as Indiana State Normal School in 1865 to integrate research, creative activity and teaching with an objective of serving the community and people. With graduate and undergraduate study programs it has been an icon in the field of higher education not only in Indiana State bit also over entire United States. From Indiana State Normal School its name changed successively to Indiana State Teachers’ College, Indiana State College, and finally to Indiana State University in 1965.
