University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Friday Center


University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – Friday Center is committed to providing higher education to candidates for making them professionally worthy and socially helpful. The UNC online courses are particularly helpful for professionals, full-time and part-time employees, defense personnel, and housewives. The UNC Chapel Hill Friday Center was specifically set up for providing online education to working adults for either enhancing their academic proficiency or increasing their professional acceptability. Established in December 1789, Chapel Hill North Carolina University was America’s first State University. This academy with more than 24,000 students and 2,600 teachers offers study programs leading to 64 undergraduate, 165 graduate, and 106 doctoral degrees in 100 disciplines through 13 colleges.

William and Ida Friday Center was set up for the sole purpose of offering online study courses to aspiring scholars.

    Admission Pre-requisites

    UNC Chapel Hill admissions are open to all high school diploma or General Equivalence Diploma (GED) holders. Applicants for Bachelors degree programs must be qualified either way. Candidates must either be employed or have access to a facility wherein they could testify their theoretical lessons. Applicants for whom English is not the mother tongue must submit score of TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or any equivalent exam. Candidates applying for Masters degree courses must have completed their Bachelors programs.

    Students enrolled for online programs at UNC Chapel Hill are offered academic and professional counseling. They have access to the university library and might avail financial assistance. Financial aid is offered in ways of scholarships and grants.
